Emailing to all members of a group

I have written a simple process which lets you email to all members of a group
This process takes in the name of a group as input parameter and emails to all members of the group
Before invoking the process make sure you have set the configuration settings of the email component(the last step of the process)
Click here to get the pdf file which has the process

Let me know if you have any further questions
thanks

  1. Very useful application.
Another very useful pdf application for forms
is providing an opt-in form to an autoresponder
service i.e., awber.com for newsletter subscriptions.
May such newsletter subscriptions services running secure scripts be used in a pdf form?
How would this application best be made into a pdf form?
They provide 3 methods for the form on an html page, javascript, html code and sending email to a list email address.

Any help would be very appreciated.

    • Hi
      lets take a example
User A submit a form to his manager “B”
Now when manager “B” approves the request you want user “A” to get email
      is that what you want?

  7. Hi Girish
Your blog is very informative and i really find very good LC solutions, but most of your .lca files are not compatible with Workbench 9.00.

Can you please make it convertible to workbench 9.00 so that i can use them accordingly

    Very thanks in Advance

    • Hi
when you login to workbench you can choose the File | Archive Migration Tool
then follow the wizard, it will guide you thorugh
Let me know if this does not work
      Thanks

  8. Thanks Girish
Actully i was trying to Import the .lca Archive from
Services > Applications and Services > Application Management > Application/Archive Import from adminui .

when i tried using Archive Migration Tool from workbench i get it through.
I have one more question here
What i noticed that i do not have Archive Migration Tool option in my workbench (one i have on my machine) however it was there on the workbench (installed on LC server).
Can you explain me this why is it so ? (both machine have same version of workbench installed and i logged in using the same admin credentials )

Is it Admin Service / Privileges ?

    Thanks
    Alok
